What is FBS

If you are a film producer trying to get your feature film project financed you will already know just how competitive the industry can be. So what makes your project financeable and how are you going to get it onto the big screen?

To begin with you need contacts, advice and well-researched information. You need to understand all the relevant techniques used in the complex world of film financing. You need the right personal and professional tools in order to get your foot in the door, meet the best people and show them you are capable of realising your dream without wasting their time or money.

The FBS is a well-established workshop for feature film producers and executives at the early stages of their career who need just that advice, those contacts, and the correct information. The list of prospering film producers from Europe who have graduated from the FBS is testament to its calibre and includes Oscar winners and many other commercially successful players.

The FBS is an intensive four-day residential course, conducted in English, concentrating on production finance and legal structures, with particular emphasis on constructing a Finance Plan for each producer’s film project. The key element of the FBS is consultation – where influential film professionals advise, tutor and share their wealth of knowledge with other professionals.
