Entry requirements

WHO IS MFBS ADDRESSED TO

The MFBS is addressed to any producer coming from one of the Meda* countries wishing to:

  • Enlarge all knowledge related to financing and co-producing strategies
  • Identify main legal issues related film and documentary production
  • Establish key contacts with Euromediterranean leading industry professionals
  • Meet potential co-producers and financiers
  • Get specific skills to maximize your industry career
  • Gain the know-how to ensure the successful marketing and distribution of audiovisual works

* Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

•  A maximum of 20 participants will be selected from nationals and residents of one of the Meda countries*.

•  High proficiency in English or French, the two working languages of the course.

•  As MFBS is a project based course, all applicants are invited to apply with a film or TV project.

•  Applicants are responsible for obtaining any required Visa. The Media Business School will provide a personal invitation if needed.

•  Those people having already participated in a Euromed Audiovisual II training are, unfortunately, not eligible.

 

FEES

There is no participation fee.

The workshops are entirely funded by the EUROMED Audiovisual Programme of the European Union in order to facilitate exchanges between European Union member states and the countries of the southern Mediterranean basin.

Travel costs will be reimbursed up to an amount of 550 € (economy class only). A higher amount will be accepted only in justified cases.

The costs of hotel accommodation and meals during the stay are fully covered by MEDIA BUSINESS SCHOOL. Ground transport from the nearest international airport to each venue and back is included as well.
