The International Markets Business School (IMBS) is an intensive 3-day project based course on international sales and distribution for entertainment industry professionals from Europe and South America.
Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of how to prepare their projects for the international market, including; understand the international market, how to position their projects, negotiation techniques and deal terms, and to devise the right strategy to sell, promote and distribute feature films, documentaries and tv programs in a digital driven global market.
The objectives of the programme are the following:
- Enable participants to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to devise the right strategy, manage and execute the international exploitation and promotion of their projects, through traditional and digital media.
- Maximise the opportunities of the participants to create networks and business relations between Latin America and Europe, promoting the circulation of films, documentaries and television content between their territories and companies.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the European and Latin American industry in order for them to succeed in the marketplace.
