Crying With Laughter, a film co-produced by Claire Mundell (FBS 2007) was presented at the Rotterdam Film Festival this year and is also preparing to go to SXSW in Austin, Texas where the film will also be launched across the US on Comcast, TimeWarner, Amazon and iTunes. Crying with Laughter it´s a powerfully, redemptive and darkly comedic revenge thriller, set against the vicious world of stand up comedy.  The project was born at Ronda Media Business School as Mundell met her future co-producers from Wellington Films.

Mundell says:  " I am absolutely delighted that Ronda Media Film Business School played such an important part in helping Crying With Laughter happen. Without the opportunity to attend the film school I wouldn´t have met Rachel and Al from Wellington and heard their case studies about low budget film making. Though I attended Ronda with a different project, it was sitting in the workshops and chatting together there wich helped form the idea to co-produce the film with Wellington and EM Media, as well as Scottish Screen and BBC Scotland.  The Film Business School is a great opportunity to help hot house the coming together of projects in this way."
